Cow Sorting 2010

John May, a local horseman, and his family, hosted a night for us at his farm. John competes nationally at Team Penning and Cow Sorting, and we went there to find out what it is all about. We had great fun that night! Two riders work to sort cows from one pen to another by number, without letting the wrong cows through. We all thought we had it figured out until John and his wife Colleen showed us how it was really done! Everyone who wanted to got to ride with the cows at their own pace. What a cool experience.
